For Britt Brandon, athletics has been part of her life from a young age. This single mother of three was diagnosed as anemic early in her first pregnancy. She found herself turning to whole, clean foods for iron-rich, nutritionally balanced meals to help improve her health and the health of her unborn child. After making some adjustments, she found herself more energized, focused, and inspired to live healthier. She became inspired by the healing potential of proper nutrition and exercise during her first and second pregnancies by becoming a certified personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist.
Britt started a fitness-focused website and blog, UltimateFitMom.com, as a way to share the information and experiences she had through her training. Since 2010, she has published sixteen health books focused on clean eating and prenatal health. She continues training, researching, and writing about these and other healthy living topics daily.
